What Is Infrared?
Infrared is the band of light we perceive as heat;
it cannot be seen with the naked eye, but is felt in
the form of heat. Our sum produces most of its
energy output in the infrared segment of
the spectrum. Infrared rays transfer heat directly
to the body without having to first heat the air.
This radiant heat works on the body directly from
within. Normal sauna heaters simply don't offer this

Infrared heat saunas operate at safer, more
comfortable temperatures than other saunas, only 110
- 150 degrees F. This radiant heat reaches deep, to
be absorbed by your body as much as 1 1/2 inches
below the skin, while producing 2 - 3 times more
sweat than other saunas. Traditional saunas use a
stove to heat the air to as hot as 220 degrees F.
And to be effective, this super heated air must
remain tightly enclosed, resulting in a stifling,
suffocating environment. By contrast, Infrared
Saunas allow fresh air to circulate for ventilation
